We’ve all agreed that it’s all about bright colors in Malaysia (since it’s Spring/Summer all year long) while the fashion season highlights the brown, gray and beige colors of Fall/Autumn.

Rumor has it that that some peeps are a bit vary of bright colors. Probably because we don’t want to appear like clowns (or the Mad Hatter, but don’t tell him we said that). Here is a style tip with the Forever 18 and Peachy Belt for you girls out there who have yet to cross the line into a brighter, colorful world!

With all the colorful dresses in stores now, how can we accessorize that perfect lil’ black dress you have in your closet?

Let’s start with every girl’s weakness – SHOES! Pair it with a pair of bright color heels.

Don’t have a pair of bright color heels? If you have fair skin, put on a Red lippie (Our fave? Chanel Rouge!)

Don’t have fair skin? Pair it with a bright color belt like the Forever 18 and Pink Belt!

Just hop (just like the White Rabbit) into any stores from Zara, Dorothy Perkins, Topshop or even Mango and you will be inspired by all the wonderful colors of Spring and Summer. Peach, lightest shade of pink, lavender, sky blue… reminding you of innocent, simpler and pretty times. On to another store and you will see neon pink, lime green, fushia… a homage to the 80s (if you were even born yet!) but with the trends of the 2000s!

Hey it’s that time of year again, for some motherly love and appreciation! In celebration of mommies dearest; we’ve put together something for each and every different persona of mothers available based on *drumroll* the characters of Desperate Housewives; well minus their desperations of course for we love to love their wardrobe! *grin*

Lynette the Super Mom; she’s basically the all-rounder mom. This mama juggles everything from a 9-5 career, goes home in time to cook, deals with her kid’s homework and still finds time to pamper herself. Her style is a bit eclectic sophisticated, simple and casual or even OTT. Bags for these moms are something that’s a little bit of everything, has many compartments, usually faux meets casual fabrics and material and nothing too luxurious. Bree the Domestic Goddess; she is perfectionist who sees into every detail that transform a house into a home. Susan the Mom Next Door; is basically the down- to-earth working mom though not exactly domesticated. She works hard to keep her family together so she’s tough like that. Gabrielle the Hot Mama; is what we call the trophy wife or mom. She’s got great style to boot and sashays around household chores like the queen of the house! Not to be messed with, she’s of course the domesticated version of a femme fatale. Moms like these always have a strong personal style that shouts out loud. As chic and as fashionable as any of us younger generations, she’s not afraid to try out the new styles and fashions. So we agreed for bags that has the va-va voom factor and makes a bold statement to the world. Think bold colours, limited edition designers, metallics and big brand names from the likes of Chanel, Prada and LVs.
